Gauge Store Return and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 4, 2026
Please review this Return and Cancellation Policy before placing an order. By placing an order with Gauge Store and accepting our Terms and Conditions during checkout, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Important: Approved discretionary returns are generally subject to a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refundable, and customers are generally responsible for return-shipping costs. Approved customer-requested order cancellations may be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Custom-manufactured, special-order, clearance and final-sale products cannot be returned or canceled except where required by applicable law.
Return Eligibility
If you are unsatisfied with an eligible product, you may request a return. A return will be considered only when all of the following requirements are met:
- The return is requested within 30 calendar days after carrier-recorded delivery.
- A Return Authorization number has been issued by Gauge Store management.
- The product is new, unused, uninstalled, unmodified and in resalable condition.
- The product is returned with its original packaging, instructions, hardware, accessories and all other included components.
- The product is not custom-manufactured, special order, clearance, final sale or otherwise identified as nonreturnable.
Products that have been installed, mounted, modified, drilled, painted, damaged or used are not eligible for a standard return. This restriction does not eliminate any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Return Authorization Required
All returns must be approved by Gauge Store management before merchandise is shipped back.
No product will be accepted for return without a valid Return Authorization number, also called an RA number. To request authorization, call Gauge Store at 317-856-1810 or email sales@gaugemagazine.com.
Please provide your name, order number, the product being returned and the reason for the return. Gauge Store may request photographs, part numbers, packaging information or other documentation before issuing authorization.
Do not ship merchandise to Gauge Store until you receive an RA number and return instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the sender.
15% Restocking Fee
Approved discretionary returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee calculated from the purchase price of the returned product.
The restocking fee helps cover order processing, payment expenses, inspection, handling, repackaging and returning merchandise to available inventory.
The 15% restocking fee will not apply when Gauge Store confirms that:
- Gauge Store or its supplier shipped a product different from the product ordered;
- The product arrived damaged during shipment and the claim was properly reported;
- The product was materially defective when received; or
- Applicable law prohibits the fee.
Original shipping charges are not refundable, and customers are generally responsible for return-shipping expenses unless the return results from a confirmed Gauge Store shipping error, covered shipping damage, a materially defective product or applicable law requires otherwise.
Return Shipping Requirements
After receiving an RA number, the customer is responsible for:
- Properly and securely packaging the product;
- Paying applicable return-shipping charges;
- Using a trackable shipping service;
- Providing Gauge Store with the return tracking number;
- Purchasing sufficient shipping insurance; and
- Clearly including the RA number with the return.
Gauge Store is not responsible for customer-arranged return shipments that are lost, damaged, misdirected or delivered without the required RA information.
When a return results from a confirmed Gauge Store shipping error, covered shipping damage or a materially defective product, Gauge Store will provide appropriate return instructions. Do not independently purchase return shipping unless Gauge Store instructs you to do so.
After receiving authorization and confirmed return instructions, approved returns may be directed to:
Gauge Store – ReturnsGauge Media Group, Inc.
6919 S. Kentucky Ave.
Building 2
Camby, IN 46113
Do not send merchandise to this address without first receiving an RA number and confirmed return instructions. Some products may need to be returned directly to a manufacturer or supplier.
Return Inspection and Refunds
All returned products will be inspected after they arrive. A standard return may be refused or may have documented deductions taken from the refund if the merchandise is used, installed, damaged, incomplete, modified, improperly packaged or otherwise not in new and resalable condition.
Gauge Store will notify the customer if a return is refused or if a deduction beyond the disclosed restocking fee is necessary because of the condition of the returned merchandise.
After an approved return has been received and inspected, the applicable refund will normally be issued to the original payment method within five business days. Your bank, credit card company or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit to your account.
For a discretionary return, the refund will be reduced by the applicable 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges, customer-paid return-shipping expenses and other properly disclosed nonrefundable charges will not be included in the refund.
When Gauge Store confirms that an incorrect, shipping-damaged or materially defective product was received, the refund or other resolution will be handled without the standard restocking fee. Appropriate shipping charges will also be addressed according to the circumstances of the claim and applicable law.
Customer-Caused Damage and Return Abuse
Gauge Store carefully inspects returned merchandise before approving a refund, replacement, exchange or store credit. Products damaged after delivery by the customer, installer or another third party are not considered shipping-damaged or defective products.
A refund, replacement, exchange or store credit may be denied when inspection indicates that the product was:
- Installed, mounted, tested, operated or used;
- Modified, drilled, cut, welded, painted or otherwise altered;
- Damaged through improper installation, handling, storage or packaging;
- Damaged because product instructions or warnings were not followed;
- Missing parts, hardware, instructions, packaging or accessories;
- Damaged after delivery but reported as shipping damage;
- Substituted with a different product or component;
- Returned with an altered, removed or mismatched serial number or part number; or
- Intentionally damaged, misrepresented or returned under false pretenses.
Gauge Store may photograph or otherwise document the condition of returned merchandise, packaging, serial numbers, part numbers and identifying marks during inspection. Gauge Store may compare this information with photographs, shipping records, manufacturer records and information supplied by the customer.
If a return is denied, Gauge Store will notify the customer and explain the reason for the decision. The customer may be responsible for the cost of shipping the denied merchandise back to the customer.
Gauge Store will not dispose of or return denied merchandise until the customer has been given instructions and a reasonable opportunity to arrange payment for any applicable shipping charges. If the customer does not respond or make arrangements, Gauge Store will provide additional notice before taking further action with the merchandise.
Suspected return fraud, product substitution, intentional damage or material misrepresentation may result in denial of the requested refund, replacement, exchange or store credit. Gauge Store may report documented suspected fraud to the applicable payment provider, carrier, manufacturer, law-enforcement agency or other appropriate party.
Nothing in this section limits any customer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Exchanges
Product exchanges require prior authorization. Depending on product availability, supplier requirements and the circumstances of the request, an exchange may be processed as a return of the original product followed by a separate order for the replacement product.
Do not return a product for exchange until Gauge Store provides an RA number and instructions.
Custom-Manufactured and Special-Order Products
Custom-manufactured, custom-ordered, made-to-order and special-order products cannot be returned or canceled after the order has been submitted to the manufacturer or supplier, except where required by applicable law.
These products include, but are not limited to:
- Custom wheel adapters and spacers;
- Wheel tubs;
- Sliding ragtop products;
- Made-to-order products;
- Products manufactured or modified to customer specifications; and
- Other products identified as custom, special order or nonreturnable.
Customers are responsible for verifying all measurements, bolt patterns, vehicle information, colors, specifications and other selections before placing a custom or special order.
Clearance and Final-Sale Products
Products clearly identified as clearance or final sale are sold as-is. These sales are final, and the products cannot be returned or exchanged except where required by applicable law.
Any applicable manufacturer warranty is governed by the individual manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to request cancellation of an order before receiving the merchandise, call Gauge Store at 317-856-1810 as soon as possible.
Approved customer-requested order cancellations may be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. This fee helps offset payment-processing, order-processing, supplier and administrative expenses incurred after an order is submitted.
A cancellation request is not guaranteed. An order may be unable to be canceled after it has entered processing, been submitted to a manufacturer or supplier, entered production or shipped.
Custom-manufactured, custom-ordered and special-order products cannot be canceled after the order has been submitted to the manufacturer or supplier.
The customer-requested cancellation fee does not apply when Gauge Store cancels an order, when Gauge Store cannot fulfill an order, when a customer declines a shipping delay in accordance with applicable law or when applicable law otherwise prohibits the fee.
Orders paid through Amazon Pay or another payment provider will be refunded through the original payment method and remain subject to that provider’s processing rules and posting times. Gauge Store does not impose a separate Amazon Pay refund fee.
Damaged Shipments, Missing Items and Shortages
Products damaged during shipment, visibly damaged packaging, missing components or shipment shortages should be reported to Gauge Store within three calendar days after delivery so that a carrier or supplier claim can be opened promptly.
Failure to report a problem within three calendar days may affect Gauge Store’s ability to obtain relief from the carrier or supplier, but it does not eliminate any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Please retain the product, shipping box, shipping label, packaging materials and all included components. Gauge Store may request photographs or video showing:
- The outside of the shipping box or container;
- The shipping label and tracking number;
- All sides of the product;
- The specific damage being reported;
- The product’s part number or serial number;
- The internal packaging materials; and
- All included parts, hardware and accessories.
Do not install, mount, test, modify, discard or return a damaged product unless Gauge Store provides instructions and, when applicable, an RA number.
Gauge Store will assist with the applicable shipping-damage claim. The available resolution may include replacement parts, a replacement product, repair, store credit or a refund, depending on the circumstances, product availability and applicable law.
If an immediate replacement is requested before the claim is completed, the customer may be required to purchase the replacement product. Any later refund for the original shipment will depend on the condition of the merchandise, the supporting documentation and the outcome of the applicable claim.
Additional delivery and damage procedures appear in our Shipping Policy.
Incorrect Products
If you believe you received a product different from the item ordered, contact Gauge Store promptly and before installing, mounting, modifying, drilling, painting or using the product.
Please provide your order number and any photographs, labels, part numbers or other information requested by Gauge Store. Do not return the product until you receive instructions and an RA number.
When Gauge Store confirms that it or its supplier shipped an incorrect product, the standard 15% restocking fee will not apply, and Gauge Store will provide appropriate return-shipping or replacement instructions.
Delivery Confirmation
Carrier tracking showing that a shipment was delivered to the shipping address provided with the order, or to a delivery location subsequently authorized by the customer, will be considered evidence of delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and a secure delivery location. Customers are also responsible for carrier changes they request, including delivery redirects, holds, access-point delivery or pickup-location delivery.
If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate the package, check with household members, neighbors, property management, the carrier and any authorized pickup location before contacting Gauge Store.
Suspected theft, loss or delivery problems should be reported promptly to the carrier and Gauge Store. Please review our Shipping Policy for complete delivery provisions.
Vehicle Fitment and Installed Products
Customers are responsible for confirming product fitment before ordering or installation. This includes verifying the vehicle’s year, make, model, trim, drivetrain, cab configuration, bed length, wheel specifications, suspension configuration and any factory or aftermarket options that may affect compatibility.
If you are uncertain about fitment, call 317-856-1810 before ordering. Products that have been installed, mounted, modified, drilled, painted, damaged or used are not eligible for a standard return.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many products sold by Gauge Store include warranties provided by their manufacturers. Warranty length, coverage, exclusions and claim procedures vary by manufacturer.
Warranty claims are separate from standard returns and may require the customer to work directly with the manufacturer. Photographs, proof of purchase, serial numbers, installation records or other documentation may be required.
Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, accidents, racing, off-road use, failure to follow instructions or normal wear and tear may not be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
Nothing in this policy limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
